The series was created, written, and produced by award-winning author, Rodolfo Alvarado, The Perla Garcia Mysteries are dedicated to entertaining, teaching and bringing cultural awareness to children around the world. The book series and podcast are also a valuable learning tool in and out of the classroom. The stories introduce emerging readers to the mystery genre and combines the genre's conventions to teach Spanish and English, problem-solving, logic, and critical-thinking skills.
